(Source: SLSA - Surf Life Saving Australia Ltd) Grant Kenny might have had his greatest day in surf lifesaving on Maroochydore beach 36 years ago, but he didn't have the same luck on that stretch of sand at today's Aussies 2016 Masters championships. While the Championships have been celebrating Kenny's open and junior ironman double in 1980, it was Surfers Paradise competitor Craig Chapman who was enjoying the celebrations after beating Kenny across the line in the 50-54 years ironman.
